" Located in the Sierrra-Nevada Mountains, Sherwood Forest Timber Frames is a tradition oriented timber framing shop that focuses on preservation and restoration of historic timber frames, education about timber and heavy-timber framed buildings, along with design and construction of new timber framed structures."

Paul has been a carpenter for forty-six years and a timber framer for twenty-three years. He founded Sherwood Forest Timber Frames to build traditional timber framed houses and historic barn preservation in California and Nevada. He co-founded the California Nevada Barn Alliance to form a non-profit organization to educate the public about the vast catalogue of historic vernacular structures in California and Nevada. Paul is a member of "The Traditional Research and Advisory Group" (TTRAG) of the Timber Framers Guild . Paul and the other TTRAG members have a strong dedication for historic vernacular architecture.
